About

Act!onHeat supports local and regional authorities in the development or upgrade of high quality strategic heating and cooling plans and pre-feasibility studies for individual projects. In that context, the project has identified key success factors for strategic heat planning.

The new Article 25 of the revised Energy Efficiency Directive requires that public authorities prepare local heating and cooling plans at least in municipalities having a total population higher than 45 000. Hence, sharing the experience of the actors involved and the lessons learned from the project cannot be more timely.
