Marcel Camps Inglès is the Project Manager of the Energy Communities and Demand-Response Flexibility in the AMB Energy Transition Office, serving as the public administration for the metropolitan area of Barcelona. Covering 636 km2 with 36 municipalities and a population of 3.3 million, the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB) is the largest metropolitan agglomeration in the western Mediterranean and a significant contributor to Catalonia's regional GDP.

Marcel Camps holds a degree in Energy Engineering and holds background in renewable energy and energy markets, with experience working at companies like Trebol Energia. He specializes in drafting PV self-consumption projects, conducting energy audits, and analyzing electricity markets for major energy consumers. Marcel has also been responsible for managing H2020 funded projects within AMB, including UP-STAIRS, V2MARKET, and the LIFE project COMANAGE.
