Seamus is a highly experienced manager with over 25 years’ experience in energy, education and training environments. He leads and partners with consortia across a range of national and EU funding programmes.   He is Principle Investigator for Sustainable Development Research Institute (SDRI) within the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) and is the Coordinator of the REMARKABLE Climate Leaders project and the EU ManagEnergy service.

He is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Tipperary Energy Agency and Secretary General of FEDARENE, European Federation of Agencies and Regions for Energy and the Environment.  He is passionate about enabling local communities to maximise benefits arising from the transition to carbon neutrality.
