Volodymyr Smolii currently works as a project manager of EECU, responsible for the implementation of SMARTER4EU project activities, in which EECU is involved as a collaborator. The main task of EECU within the project is to create prerequisites for the development of Green Homes & Green Mortgage programs instruments in the process of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine with aim on addressing the needs of people who lost their housing as a result of the war.

Volodymyr Smolii is a seasoned professional in Ukrainian local governance with over 14 years of broad experience (worked on different positions in local governance sector, including 8 years as Deputy Mayor). Significant experience in development of municipal sustainable energy policies, management and implementation of municipal infrastructure energy-related projects as a team leader and local PIU coordinator. Significant experience in communication and advocacy the needs of Ukrainian municipalities (municipal sustainable energy and climate-neutral planning, development and implementation of  energy-related projects) as a practicing municipal representative as well as professional consultant.
