PROPEL is in the process of creating the Sustainable Energy Finance Association (SEFA), which will be acting as a European centre of competence for the whole value chain of actors working on the development of Sustainable Energy Assets, with a focus on building renovation.

PROPEL builds on and will complement the set of standardised tools developed in the LAUNCH project, such as an investor-grade Energy as a Service contract, a standardised risk assessment protocol or a roadmap for project developers to access growth capital.

The SEFA ecosystem will be deployed in direct cooperation with an existing group of European financial partners, partner banks, partner ESCO associations, engaged ESCOs and end-client representatives in a number of Member States.
