Petya has over ten years of experience working on climate change at the international and local level. Currently she is a Project Manager at Climate Alliance and co-leads the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy – Europe initiative. She has contributed to the work of the European Environment Agency in the area of urban adaptation and just resilience. In the past, Petya worked in the UN Climate Change Secretariat and was supporting the intergovernmental process with focus on adaptation and loss and damage. She holds a MSc diploma in Sustainable Resource Management from the Technical University Munich.
