Mr. Thorkil Neergaard is CEO at the municipal utility “Brønderslev Forsyning A/S” in Denmark encompassing district heating. The district heating system in Brønderslev serves approx. 15.000 inhabitants, and today almost 90% of the energy is produced by green sources such as solar heat, wood chips and excess power from wind turbines.
