As a spatial planner and political scientist, Viktoria Forstinger has been working at UIV Urban Innovation Vienna since 2019 on several provincial-, national- and European projects and processes mainly in the field of energy but also on mobility as well as climate change mitigation and adaptation issues. Since February 2022, she is the coordinator of the Decarb City Pipes 2050 project, which focuses on decarbonizing the heating and cooling system of cities. Before joining UIV, she gained experience in various (governmental) institutions in Austria and abroad (e.g. in Dhaka and New York) on a variety of (inter)national issues.
