Christiane Egger is Deputy General Manager of the OÖ Energiesparverband, the energy agency of Upper Austria, and Manager Cleantech-Cluster Energy, a network of 250 companies. She is the director of the World Sustainable Energy Days conference and Vice-President for Climate Neutrality of FEDARENE, the European network of regional energy and environment agencies. She is a member in the management board of the Austrian R&D platform for the decarbonisation of industry (NEFI).

Christiane Egger is an expert in market development of energy efficiency and renewable energy in buildings and industry and promotion of sustainable energy production and use. She holds a law degree and a post-graduate degree in environmental engineering.
