About

Eduardo graduated from the University of São Paulo in Brazil as an environmental engineer, concluded a second Master’s degree in Transport and Sustainable Development at the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in France and did a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Urban Ecology at the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris.

With ten years of international experience in urban sustainability, Eduardo worked on diverse topics such as energy, mobility, waste management and biodiversity. Eduardo is driven by the challenge of making cities sustainable and inclusive.

At Energy Cities, Eduardo coordinates the POWER UP project on new business models to alleviate energy poverty. He also contributes to ASCEND project on Positive Energy Districts, and the SSH CENTRE project, which fosters the use of social sciences in public policy development.
