Richard has a background in financial services. In 2015 he chose to become an entrepreneur. In 2017, with his business partner Dick Dekker, he founded De Woonpas from which the GVR originated in 2020. Over the last few years the company has grown to a group with various companies, all with a clear focus on the energy transition and home retrofitting.
